All About Me
My passion for disability inclusion has been driven by my own experiences living with a hidden disability. I was diagnosed with a profound hearing loss as a child and have worn hearing aids for my whole life. Whilst I was fortunate to have some great support services available to me as a child, this did not continue into adulthood and I found that I had to forge my own path in life - often the hard way.

Through hard work and determination, I have had a successful career in contract and sourcing management across multiple industries in some large national and multinational businesses. Using resilience and tenacity that I have gained by living with a disability, I've been able to negotiate complex contracts, travel the world for my work (and pleasure), gain multiple post-graduate degrees and build strong relationships with people from all walks of life.

I've faced many challenges in my life, including various chronic health conditions and now want to pivot my focus to using my experiences in Australian workplaces to drive a movement towards a better, more inclusive environment for all Australians no matter their ability.
